NDIS Support & Program Access

We understand that families seeking early support often carry a mix of hope, worry and determination. Our program exists to honour that journey—with a learning environment that is trauma-informed, therapy-based and deeply respectful of each child’s unique needs.

NDIS-Friendly School Readiness Support!

Many of our families have successfully used their child’s NDIS plans for our program under categories such as Improved Daily Living or Capacity Building for Children. Our sessions not only align with your child’s current speech and occupational therapy goals but also extend these skills through a trauma-informed, semi play-based framework.

We offer both small group (up to 5 children) and 1:1 format to ensure tailored support. Each session is designed to complement existing therapy while fostering emotional regulation, communication and school readiness.

NDIS participants receive detailed case notes, and outcome review reports to support therapeutic funding pathways and ensure transparency for families and support coordinators.

While our program is fully NDIS-aligned, we are not a registered NDIS provider. As such, we are only able to support families with self-managed or plan-managed NDIS funding.

Our school readiness program is inclusive and open to all families. Children do not need an NDIS plan to participate—every child is welcome, and every family is supported.

NDIS Participants Billing Guide

Funding Requirement & Gap Fee

To take part in a full term of our program, families usually need to set aside around $3,000 in NDIS funding. This covers weekly sessions, documentation time, and any gap fees.

Funding needs may vary depending on whether your child attends small group sessions or receives 1:1 support, as individual formats involve more staffing and time.

If group classes have more than four children, the NDIS hourly rate per child is reduced. To maintain quality support, a gap fee of around $11 per session may apply.

We recommend families plan this funding in advance to avoid disruptions and ensure consistent support.

Billing

Each session is billed for 1 hour 15 minutes, which includes:

  • 55-minute therapy session with direct support and feedback to families.

  • Time for individual NDIS-compliant invoicing.

  • Completion of case notes and documentation required for NDIS compliance.

All services are billed under: NDIS Category: Capacity Building – Improved Daily Living (Early Childhood Supports) Support Item Number: 15_005_0118_1_3 Hourly Rate: $193.99 (as per current NDIS Price Guide)

If a participant exhausts their available NDIS funding, they may continue attending as a privately funded student and will be charged the relevant private fee.

Outcome Reviews

Children attending more than three consecutive terms will receive a formal Outcome Review Report, billed at 1.5 hours under report writing within the participant’s NDIS plan.
