Support That Meets Your Child Where They Are!
A calm, developmental space for children in their early years and early primary years to build confidence, communication, and foundational learning skills — with the time, support, and guidance they need to feel ready.
The Heart Behind School Readiness Solutions
Hi, I’m Tracey!
I'm a mum, a registered early childhood teacher and school‑readiness practitioner.
In my sessions, children get a calm, predictable space where they can breathe, settle, and grow at their own pace. We focus on the everyday foundations — confidence, communication, flexibility, emotional safety — the things that help them feel ready to join in and cope with the big feelings that come with school and early learning.
I’ve spent years shaping a gentle, child‑centred approach that blends connection, routine and hands‑on learning. Every session is tailored to your child — who they are, what they love and what helps them feel safe.
If you’re looking for a warm, steady space where your child is understood and supported without pressure, you’re in the right place. I’d love to walk alongside your family.and if you spot a big black Labrador in my photos — that’s my “third child.” He’s always nearby, always curious and always asking for snacks just like my other children!
What Makes School Readiness Solution Different?
A specialised, child‑centred approach
I support children who need more time, predictability, and understanding to feel settled in their early learning years. Every session is shaped around your child’s developmental needs, strengths, and pace — never a one‑size‑fits‑all model.
Calm, relationship‑based practice
Children learn best when they feel safe and connected. My sessions are grounded in gentle routines, warm interactions, and hands‑on experiences that help children feel understood and ready to engage.
Developmental foundations, not mainstream teaching
I focus on the everyday capacities that help children participate confidently — communication, emotional regulation, early‑literacy foundations, social connection, and flexible thinking. Everything is embedded naturally through semi play‑based, experiences.
Support that meets your child where they are Whether your child needs extra time to warm up, help navigating transitions, or support building confidence in new environments, I meet them at their pace and build from there.
Key Areas We Nurture
Children grow best when they feel safe, understood, and supported at their pace. Across our sessions, we gently nurture the foundational capacities that help children feel confident in their early learning years.
Communication — building understanding, expression, turn‑taking, and shared attention.
Emotional Regulation — supporting children to settle, warm up, and navigate big feelings.
Social Connection — developing confidence in shared play, routines, and simple social awareness.
Participation — strengthening engagement, transitions, and everyday independence.
Early Learning Foundations — exploring sound awareness, early concepts, and hands‑on learning experiences.
Foundational Learning Areas:
Each session is designed to strengthen the foundational skills that help children feel confident, capable and ready to participate in early learning and school environments.
We support children to grow in the following areas:
Emotional Regulation & Social Confidence
Children experience calm, predictable routines and supported peer interactions that nurture resilience, turn‑taking, cooperation and emerging self‑advocacy.
Executive Functioning & Attention Skills
Play‑based, capacity‑building experiences help children practise working memory, impulse control and sustained attention — skills that make structured learning feel more manageable.
Motor Planning & Sensory Processing
Sessions include a mix of gross and fine motor activities that support handwriting readiness, postural stability and comfort in busy, sensory‑rich environments.
Language Development & Communication
Language is supported naturally through meaningful, play‑based interactions that build receptive and expressive language, early storytelling and social communication.
Routine Familiarisation & Learning Expectations
Children are gradually introduced to gentle, classroom‑like routines, visual schedules and group experiences that reduce anxiety, build confidence and support smoother transitions into school settings.
SESSION FORMAT
Our sessions run weekly during the Victorian school term, giving children a calm and consistent space to learn and grow.
Each session is 55 minutes and blends gentle structure with play‑based experiences that match your child’s strengths and support needs.
After every session, you’ll receive a short progress note so you can follow your child’s learning journey and see how we’re planning ahead.
During school breaks, we continue offering 1:1 sessions and may also run optional small‑group sessions depending on interest and suitability.
These groups are gentle, low‑pressure opportunities for children to practise shared play, social connection and simple group routines in a supportive environment.
The Growth We See in Children
Families often notice that, over time, their child begins to:
Feel more confident and ready to join in with structured learning routines
Use communication more comfortably and enjoy positive interactions with peers and adults
Build early literacy and fine‑motor foundations that support school participation
Show greater emotional awareness and settle more easily with gentle support
Grow steadily across key foundational areas helping families feel reassured about their child’s early learning journey
Our sessions draw on evidence‑informed early childhood practices, using visual supports, sensory tools and predictable routines to meet each child’s strengths and support needs.
With 1:1 or small‑group learning formats, children receive personalised guidance, high engagement and meaningful opportunities to build confidence as they prepare for or adjust to school environments.
